I am a 27 year-old Software Engineer from Saint Louis, Missouri, USA - currently living in Queenstown, New Zealand.

My primary passion is travel - I can't ever seem to get enough. I also love to program and often read technology oriented news, but at the same time I greatly enjoy hiking, camping, target shooting, and canoeing. I find that a mixture of technology and an appreciation of nature are complementary.

I am often interested in both local and international politics. I try to make rational decisions based on facts, logic, equality, and compassion. I consider myself reasonably well informed.

I like to think my taste in music is fairly diverse, but I usually tend to listen to bands like Radiohead or Death Cab for Cutie.
