1990 Toyota Camry
This was my first car! I have extremely fond memories of this car.
I actually learned to drive primarily in this car, which was my mom's at the time. I think it was a great starter car, as it wasn't too fast and it certainly wasn't flashy. I gave it one good accident and a couple small ones, as I think most newish drivers do.
The first one was minor, but fairly embarrassing. I was parking in the garage, and right where I needed to stop I instead accelerated. This caused me to run into an old, wooden framed suitcase which somehow exploded and sent a chunk of wood flying through the drywall into my house, knocking over a houseplant inside. Luckily, the small drywall repair was the extent of the damage, so it wasn't so bad.
The second one was a bit worse, as I rear ended a nearly new Pontiac Gran Prix. Insurance took care of it, and I think the only cost was a $50 deducible since my parents had some kind of free accident built up in their plan.
The last one didn't really cause any damage, but while in college I was on a dirt road in icy conditions and somehow ran into/over some small trees/bushes.
Eventually, the car became less and less reliable and eventually left me stranded in a Target parking lot in Maryland Heights right as I was starting my working life. This was the final straw, and resulted in me getting (long term borrowing) my next car, a 1992 Honda Prelude.
