GNU/Linux

I'm a huge fan of GNU/Linux. It is amazing that such a huge collection of great software is free, both idealogically and price wise.
At the moment, and for the forseeable future, I'm using an extremely popular distribution called Ubuntu. It seems to bundle everything I need, and does a good job of keeping up with security updates. Plus, more importantly, everyone is using it, so it gets a huge amount of community feedback and there are tons of forums dedicated to solving common and not so common problems.

Non-default Ubuntu software I use and recommend
- Amarok (Music Player/Library)
- Digikam (Photo Library/Editor)
- Deluge (Bittorrent Client)
- Dia (Diagram Editor)
- GNOME Do (nifty task launcher widget)
