Kanchanaburi
A fairly small town, there was plenty to explore and the area was beautiful. This is the site of the bridge that crosses the River Kwai, which inspired the WW2 movie "The Bridge Over the River Kwai". I got to feed an elephant, which was pretty awesome. It was dirt cheap, as well; I think I was paying about 3 dollars a night for a small private room. The food was amazing in this town as well, so I stayed an extra day and just relaxed by the river.
