Railay
Railay is a beach resort area/town that is inaccessible by road - you have to take a little boat to the beach from just outside of Krabi. It is known for its amazing rock climbing, and is surrounded by beautiful cliffs in every direction that isn't ocean.
I actually ended up staying a number of days, despite only rock climbing a tiny bit and the beach only being "so so". I made some pretty decent friends, and we spent a lot of time drinking and eating and wasting time, which seemed like a pretty good plan at the time. I'd really like to go back someday if I ever got good at rock climbing.
