South America
I've only had a small taste of South America - I was able to visit Peru for three weeks at the very start of 2005. That trip was my first time in a Spanish speaking country, so it was a bit of fun to get to try out the language I had done such a bad job of learning in High School. Luckily, 3 weeks is actually enough time to get a fairly good overview of Peru, so I'll be able to focus on the other countries when I go back.
While I plan to see as many countries as I possibly can during my life, I think my next trip to South America will focus on either the rugged outdoors of the Patagonia region of Chile and Argentina, or the beaches, cities, and culture of southern Brazil.
