I really like watching complete television series that have long complex plots, such as Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactic, Lost, or the like. I much prefer them if they have the story decided up front, which is why Lost and Heroes annoyed me.

I also like shows with nerdy or semi-intelligent humor, such as The Big Bang Theory, 30 Rock, M*A*S*H, or Arrested Development.

I occasionally get suckered into things like Friends or How I Met Your Mother.
