Wyoming
Wyoming is a pretty amazing place for being so empty, as it has two of the more amazing national parks america has to offer: Grand Teton and Yellowstone.
It also has the ski/outdoor activities town of Jackson, so it at least has ONE cool city. The rest of it is a LOT of open grasslands and rolling hills. Beautiful, but pretty desolate.
